Curriculum

Chatsworth Kindergarten believes in fostering a joy for learning – developing enquiring minds through an integrated curriculum. Learning activities are meaningful to children, being closely linked to topics and themes whilst meeting specific learning goals for kindergarten education in Singapore.

Chatsworth Kindergarten supports the Ministry of Education’s new Curriculum Framework for Kindergartens in Singapore – “Nurturing the Early Years”. To compliment this, the curriculum incorporates ideas and resources from a variety of local and international programmes where appropriate.

The curriculum focuses on the six key learning areas suggested by the MOE:

Play is highly valued at Chatsworth Kindergarten and is an integral part of each day and curriculum area.

Children have opportunities for guided and spontaneous play activities in the linguistic,

imaginative, investigative, creative and outdoor areas.
