Miss Justine Wooden, Principal

Justine has a dynamic nature and you can be assured that her classroom is full of action and excitement! She has been working within the Early Childhood Sector for the past 9 years and was trained and educated in Australia. She has experience working in Australian and International kindergartens and schools. She has been in Singapore for 6 years and has taught Kindergarten at Chatsworth International School, Orchard campus. Justine is teaching the Pre-K AM class for the 2009 Kindergarten year with the assistance of Miss Anita.

Miss June Yong Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies
		June has a funky, energetic and creative presence in the classroom! She has a lifelong passion for music and dance and has been involved in many concerts and musicals with both children and adults. June completed her teacher training with the University of Melbourne (Australia) and has many years of experience. She also has a certificate in Identifying Children with Special Needs and Language Development from the Linguistic Council. Mrs Kaylene Victor
Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies

Kaylene fell into teaching in 1991 by chance. However, ever since then she has not looked back! She has many years of experience and is very passionate about her profession. Kaylene has taught in both local and international kindergartens. She completed her teacher training with Monash University (Australia) in 2005. Kaylene is the proud mother of two lively and wonderful sons aged 8 and 5. Kaylene is teaching both the morning and afternoon K2 classes with the assistance of Miss Marianne.

Liu Lao Shi Diploma in Pre-School Teaching

Since graduating from Pre-school Education College in Fuzhou China, Helen has had more than 10 years of teaching experience with children. In the course of her work, she has accumulated rich experience in teaching young children. From 1997 onwards, Helen has been enriching the learning experience of children in Singapore through Chinese language and enrichment programmes, and in the process, develop children’s interest and love for the Chinese language. Helen brings with her special creative skills in music & piano, dance & drama, in addition to a natural magnetism to children.

Miss Lina Diploma in Preschool Teaching

Lina is a new member of our Chatsworth Kindergarten Team this year and works with Miss Tina in the Pre-K afternoon session. They work fantastically to create an extremely fun and stimulating learning environment! Lina studied for her Diploma in Preschool Teaching a number of years ago and has enthusiastically taken this opportunity to work at Chatsworth now that her own child has begun her preschool education.

Mrs Anita Chor Diploma in Preschool Teaching

Anita has lived in Singapore for 22 years since she got married 
in Hong Kong in 1984.  She has four children aged 16 to 21.

During her full-time motherhood, she actively took part in

school-based volunteer work for a period of ten years, 
participating in reading programmes and storytelling sessions,

as well as supporting children in Mathematics. Anita’s passion

for working with young children prompted her to undertake a

Diploma in Pre-school Teaching two years ago. She has been

working as pre-school teacher since then.  Anita believes in the

joy within every child and yearns to give each one an enjoyable

and meaningful headstart in life. She joins the team at

Chatsworth Kindy as the Teaching Assistant for the Pre-K morning

 class along with assisting in Mandarin.

Mrs Praseeda Valayapallil

Praseeda moved from India to Singapore four years ago. She has two young children that keep her very busy! Praseeda studied in India and has a Bachelor of Science degree. She also has many years of experience with young children in a child care centre in India. Praseeda now joins the team at Chatsworth Kindergarten as the K1 Assistant. Praseeda's enthusiasm and love for children is prominent and she enjoys collaborating with the Chatsworth team of teachers to provide a positive and exciting learning environment.

Miss Marianne Ong Diploma in PreSchool Teaching

Marianne began her working life as an engineer but made a career switch after she discovered the fun and rewarding experience teaching young children in her part time job as an Art teacher. Marianne has pursued a Diploma in Preschool Education and joined the Chatsworth Kindergarten team after her fantastic time here as a practicum student. Marianne is a fun and dynamic person that believes in creating an interesting, engaging and innovative classroom environment to make learning an enjoyable journey for every child. Marianne is a Teaching Assistant for both the morning and afternoon K2 classes.

Ms Soo Cheng Yap Groundsperson

Soo Cheng began working with us in May 2005 and what an impact she has made! Soo is very diligent in keeping the grounds of Chatsworth Kindergarten not only clean, safe and tidy, but extremely hygenic as well. She prepares the Kindergarten for both the morning and afternoon sessions by being the first member of staff to arrive for the day, finishing her session around 12:30pm. The children are familiar with Soo Cheng's smile and she is a truly valued member of our team.

Mrs Linda Tan Administration Executive

Linda is a proud mother of two young children. She has been sending her son to Chatsworth Kindergarten since 2004. Touched by her friendliness, Linda was asked to join Kindy as the Administration Officer in March 2007. Linda is a qualified accountant and now handles all administration matters regarding the Kindy, including admission enquiries and processing and the sale of uniforms. She has proven to be extremely efficient and is an excellent team member!
